Well, it doesn't look like an amateur paint job.

I saw that last night and was going to post on it, but didn't know what to say beyond the fact that another nice old Ric had been butchered, but my heading was also going to be, get a load of the skunk stripe. Why do people feel compelled to change these things, I don't understand it, I buy them stock and keep them stock, The only change that I regularly make is to bypass the cap that is in the treble pickup circut, I just tweek them until I get the best possible performance out of them. there are some people in this forum who do nice jobs of personalizing thier basses, I'm not talking about them, I mean stuff like putting a stupid looking skunk stripe on a nice old Ric.

After careful examination, I think that it's not white with a black stripe, but silver with a black stripe.

Just that thing for all you Oakland Raider fans out there! ;)
