Left Handed 73 4001 Carcass on the Bay

Post by aceonbass »

Left handed bassists..run, don't walk to Ebay! There's a '73 carcass with full width inlays, checkered binding, a truss rod cover, electronics and jack plate with a "Buy It Now" price of $1000.00!

Whew. I'd like to find one in Fireglo, but this one needs a bit of love for sure.

My Oct. 1972 4001 LH has CTS Mexican made pots in it too...that harness is all orginal IMO.

Both of my sons are left handed for some reason...

...Dale or Paul can make this a good one with some dollars thrown at it.

Otherwise, I would not have had any interest.

We'll see what happens!

That's the turn off for me, but I guess CS has the same problem.

Mini poll question; going to have to be an opaque refinish I'm guessing with the huge tuner holes.

Choices would be Jet, Azure or White if I recall. White has to be the rarest color, but I lean towards the Azure myself.

What say you?
