Ric 12-string songs.

Post by kennyhowes »

Unofficial study.

Please list ONE Ric 12-string song.

No Beatles or Byrds, got those covered.

One song, no Beatles or Byrds, which features a Ric 12 string. Got it?

For example: "Outside Chance," The Turtles.

Was "When You Walk In The Room" played on a RIC?

I know the Searchers played Burns guitars (the 12 string model was the "Double Six")They switched to RIC 12 Strings, but was that before or after WYWITR?

It's one of my faves either way.

According to the Robert Telleria, Mereley Players book on RUSH. Alex Lifeson used a rented 360-12 on the 1975 track "In The End" from the album 'Fly By Night'

Also "Hollow Horse" by Icicle Works. The long version (from the LP Seven Singles Deep) with the dueling Ric 12-string intro. Right up there with "Mr. Tambourine Man."

Somebody give me a Tom Petty tune. I don;t think "Fell a whole lot better" really counts.

I've always liked The Beach Boys' cover of "California Dreamin".

However, that may not make Kenny's list since Roger McGuinn performed on the track and in the video.
