Help, I accidentally bought another Rick

Post by octagon »

Well here is what happened.MF had a special promotion spend $1000 or more and get a $150 gift certificate.Well seeing that the 325c64s were back ordered till June of 2008 I thought I would order one and save up for it,so on the last day of the special offer 4/2 I ordered the 325c64.The next day 4/3 I got a notice from MF saying my guitar was backordered until March 2008.But then yesterday 4/7 I got a notice saying "your item has been shipped"What? So now I have to figure what to do to pay for it.Maybe I will have to sell my 320.Do I really need 2 short scale Ricks? If I keep my 320 I will have to sell all my other guitars(LP,Mustang,Tele,Jr) and a couple of my amps too(Little Lanilei,Tweed Bronco). What to do? Any suggestions?

Hmmm.... The only person who would ever need more than one 3/4 scale Ricks passed away in 1980.

What I'd do is just sell the new one along with your simple explanation of how its brand new and why its being sold. Who knows, on ebay you might get full price or even MORE.... Ebay can be weird like that.

Too bad its not a 350, or I'd buy it from you.

Thanks Kent,I guess I could just send it back to MF.I'll just see how I like it when it arrives but if I decide to keep it I will have to sell some or all of my other guitars.

I'd make sure it really has been shipped.

If it has, you should enroll in the same impulse control class that I took.

Except I failed the class...

Y'know Mitch, I was so close to doing what you did a couple of times. You've spared me the same circumstance. Only I'd be in a lot more trouble; I don't have a guitar or an amp I'm willing to sell to finance my Ric.

I take the fifth, myself. One glass at a time.

So you're saying this:

is wrong????? Image

(Ironically, the 325c58 MG is gone, but a 320 RED has taken its place!)

OOOooooo..... I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.... never in the history of man has such a dumb statement been uttered! I am giving myself 20 lashes as we speak.

geee,,,, thats an impressive photo. But how could you have gotten rid of the MG one?... That MG is very pretty. Never mind that my fat fingers would mistake the neck for a toothpick.

Yes, Mitch, it is Silver. Here's pic of the 320 RED BT:

One doesn't see too many of those, either ...
