I know... too bad. How about a little Liverpool reunion album:

Paul McCartney: bass, vocals
Tony Sheridan: rhythm guitar, vocals
Gerry Marsden: rhythm guitar, vocals
Mike Pender: lead guitar and vocals
Pete Best: drums

I would like to have added Derry Wilkie, but he passed away in 2001.

Maybe Paul is hesitant. But why not, and it could happen: At least he (Paul) contributed a short 6-line recognition for the Best family's recent book on the Casbah Club: Beatles- The True Beginnings (2002).
Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!

What would be the harm? Why not. Maybe they could nail a condom to a wall and light it on fire , for old times sake

I like the way you last two guys think! Why not? I think it might happen but the cameras won't be rolling, it would have to be a very private meeting I would think.

"The image show's Paul McCartney in a cell at the police station in Hamburg. The Beatles stayed at the "Bambi Kino", in the basement of the cinema. It was there that the alleged "arson" charges were brought against Paul and Pete for burning a condom in the hallway outside their room. Paul was taken to the police station where he was held in this cell."

Wouldn't that be cool! I am afraid to post that anymore, though, because every time I do, it seems, there is always some funny guy out there who replies with the dreadful comeback "All it would take is two more bullets". Can you believe that people still say awful things like that?

I last saw Ringo doing a solo act, and of course Macca, but I wish they would get back together at the same time on-stage for a gig or two and a CD - that would be sweet! Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

Paul & Pete...I really doubt it. After this horrific and expensive divorce, you think Paul wants to choose this moment to make nice with Pete Best? Great and cathartic for Pete, scary and unnecessary for Paul. We could say he might feel better after a good heart to heart, but I would think the whole idea looks nasty and unappealing to Paul, especially at this point in his life.
