I buy 'em, but just to listen to 'em. Not concerned with collectibility or anything.

What do you mean, Glenn? Are you buying, selling or just into it?

I've got some old scratched original Capitol vinyls that have been with the family since they were purchased, and a couple Parlophones in good shape that I bought new in the 80's. I still have the Sgt. Pepper album with the color photograph pressed onto the vinyl that I bought back in the mid 70's. The rarest thing is a demo vinyl of McCartney takes from around the time of his "James Paul McCartney" TV show. My sister happened upon it in L.A. way back when in the very early 70's. Some weird stuff on it, like an alternate take of "Hi Hi Hi". I'll have to listen to that again, haven't for over 20 years..!
Here is where I hide my music:

I've got that boxed set of complete Beatles stereo albums from the late 70s, all on Parlophone. I've also got a first pressing mono Sgt. Pepper on Capitol, and various other American editions. I've also got a number of their solo albums on vinyl - I've even got a near mint Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band on Apple that I bought for a dollar! (It's actually surprisingly good.)

A good friend of mine has mono UK editions of Rubber Soul and Revolver and we're planning a series mono/stereo listening parties leading up to the 40th Anniversary of Sgt. Pepper on June 1.

I wish that the original mono versions of their singles were more readily available. Especially I Want to Hold Your Hand, Help!, Day Tripper, Paperback Writer.

I'd like to find the original UK double-EP of Magical Mystery Tour - it's a really cool little package.

I have all of my sister's 1st-run Beatle LPs, bought when they were new at 1st release. I had to add to the collection, for some reason she didn't have LIB or Meet The Beatles...I have also added myself some original mono pressings of certain LPs, I have a mono Sgt. Pepper which is cool.

I also have many 45s from all over the world but no picture sleeves I'm afraid. I have most of the US releases, some DJ copies and EPs too.

I guess it helped that we had a Capitol Records plant here in town...Image One of my friend's Dad was a manager at the plant.

I have the complete '80's released, promotional, Capital catalog, still sealed. I also still have many originals I bought when first released, and they are in very 'worn' condition.

Only the 'worn' set, Peter. I'd still play 'em, but my Victrola is on the fritz.

I've got quite an extensive Beatles collection of both albums and 45's.
