I saw this over at Gbase, looks like an early Electro Pickup on this small upright bass.

What finish is that? The dog appears to be mapleglo.

This one has been floating around as a trial balloon, for a couple of years at least...always "not for sale".

Then, why post it on GBase?

That dog is mapleglo, but with the less bulbous tail, indicating a post 2003 creation date!
