Julian sells?
This is off the record
I'm not sure how to feel about this. Glen, What was your first thought?

I don't know. I think it's pretty clear that there are numerous people in these families who live pretty high on the hog but generate little if any income on their own. Julian might be one of them. I think the repackages and rehashes (1, Love, etc.) are a sign of things to come. I think the fabs themselves were a lot more careful about cashing in than their kin are.

Julian really never knew his dad all that well. By all accounts he was closer to Paul in some respects. George is gone, Yoko is a money grabbing, bizzy ditch, so I am not surprised that they are selling out. Even though Julian reportedly does not like Yoko very much he and his mother are following in her footsteps in so far as they are selling their future proceeds.
Like Kent said we have their music. It's readily available in the public domain, so who cares.

Done!... that cruise on the Royal Iris Riverboat was a blast, eh? I dug them bouffant chicks and the lads were in great form ... and a wee bit drunk I might add, but then so were we.
This was July 6, 1962 and it was pretty clear to me that Pete was the odd man out of the tight nit John-Paul-George group. If he wasn't aware of the division, he should have been.

I've always liked Julian. I thought he got the short end of the stick, seemed to have some talent, appeared the least affected by the Beatle thing.
This move is a low class move in my opinion. Particularly when he claims he did it to help his career. That is either a load, or he is delusional. He is a 44 year old man who has had a shot. Did great with what he had, but get a grip about a career in the music. That's over in a flash and he is selling an unbelievable piece of history, that in my opinion should be owned by a Lennon forever. It's a sad, sad sellout. WTF? The music made 24 million last year, that's not enough? I don't like it I tell ya, not one bit!
I'm starting to like Yoko. (I gotta lay down after that crack)

I'm just happy to be here.
