I think it's the outdoor shot...Seems to show the flake better.

The flake is very pronounced on mine. The initial picture shows it very clearly, but alot of the flake is lost when resizing the pics.

A really sunlit pic might be what we need. It was only partially sunny today.

OK, lets try this. Here's just the "cresting wave":

See?

That thing at the top is a tree reflection in the backround.

The bass we saw at the 75th did not show like that when photographed. I remember all who took pics of it trying to capture the paint took multiples trying to get it right. Granted it was inside, but we had flash.

Some said you could see the walnut wings through the finish also. Mine is opaque.

See? I guess you could call this one the "prototype". Paul W's bass.

Completely different animal.

I like the 'flake. Very visual.

The gold flake in the finish matches the gold plastic. Very classy.

Apparently keeping mine company Bob!

It appears, by looking at the collections of the forum members, that RIC's get lonely and they require company...Image

Annie's Guitars has changed their description on gbase to read INBOUND accepting offers(their 2nd 4003 I assume):

http://www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/GearDetails.aspx?Item=1644309

They also have a 360 DCM listed on gbase.

Interesting she offers to ship the bass worldwide. I thought dealers were not allowed to do that with new Rics.

Thought I'd add a little eye candy. Players trim, of course.
