You are probably right Mark. But what an unexpected and interesting twist this would be for Paul, Ringo and Pete. Throw in Sean and Julian and it would fill some seats. Clapton and Laine in the "wings", the unrealistic plot thickens. Dhani would put it over the top.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I think a collaborative CD between McCartney and Yoko Ono would be a more likely possibility...with of course the tour to follow!

Ono! Tell me it ain't so! Image After Heather Mills burned him, Macca wouldn't get caught dead with such an old flame.....

From leaked song titles and descriptions, this doesn't sound like a great, promising album.. It's not much to build criticism on, of course. But my bet is that Chaos and Creation will stand as Paul's last, great album.

Odd, I thought Chaos And Creation sucked. I struggled to listen to it all the way through the first time, and any other time I put it on I turned it off mid way. It's just boring.

I read that Natalie Portman will be in Paul's first video. Works for me. Just read that on the Macca report, who's link I got from the natalieportman.com site (hey, I'm a fan :P). It said:

"Reportedly the first single from McCartney's "Memory Almost Full" will be the first song on the album called "Dancing Tonight".

There is a video to accompany the song which includes a Paul "lookalike." The video was directed by Michel Gondry and stars Mackenzie Crook, Natalie Portman and Macca impersonator Neil Tudor."

It also said:

"The album is said to be a nod to McCartney's former band, Wings, a band that Paul and Linda nurtured successfully in the aftermath of The Beatles."

Well well well, after 40 years someone on the inside in the know finally slipped up!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU'VE ALREADY PANNED THE ALBUM BECAUSE OF THE NAMES AND DESCRIPTIONS OF THE SONGS? How did Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band sound to the average person in 1967? Or A Hard Day's Night? How About Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite? I have to laugh! His album must suck... look at the titles of the songs. WOW!

Preach on Brian!

I don't care about the lookalike, as long as Natalie Portman's in the video! Image

Well, if the titles were something like "Here's Something I Just Threw Together Because I'm Lazy" or "This Songs Really Sucks" or "I Have Run Out of Musical Ideas But I Needed One More Song to Fill This Album" I might take him at his word.

But since they aren't, I will reserve judgment until the album is actually released and I have, in fact, heard the album!

The first single's out...definite departure from "Chaos" but I've been told the rest of the album isn't really reflective of the single.

I liked it.

The record is produced by David Kahne, the same dude who did Driving Rain - DEFINITELY a departure in style from the last record.

If I may ask, where'd you hear the single Alisha?
