Back in the day, I thought "Brand New Key" was one of the best written, most clever porno songs there ever was. Still do, too. What a hoot! It still makes me smile. And her voice is perfect for that ditty.

I agree on this, Jim. "Loopy" works in this case!

Wow! She turned 60 this past Feb 13th, too...

Gulp.

Here's a pic from her 1999 birthday bash. Yikes!

Here's an article from 1998. I never heard of it. Don't know if it's still around.

I always liked her voice myself. Hearing "Candles In The Rain" and "Look What They Done To My Song Ma" brought back some nice memories. Her voice and those songs are a lot better than some of the ****** singers and material that is passed off today as "music". And yes Melanie was hot back then! She could have had her key and mine too if I had been old enough!
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Minni had an incredible rise out of the Rotary Connection before death took her way too soon.

Thanks Jdog, I knew I had read it in the paper. I lived in Clearwater for 5 years and I thought it was north of there.
