A pickguard of some sort should work or individual surrounds. The chrome will look good against that Jetgl.., I mean, black body.

Those routes are too big for HB-1's - you're gonna have to come up with some sort of mounting system.

The pickguard idea might work. I want to make this that Gibson red anyway. I just thought I'd rather pay 50 bucks for the body than 150-300!

Worst case, I could drop some LP pups in it. I am thinking of going with this neck, but I can find cheaper ones without the stars.

I'm sorry....I'm a freakin' idiot! I see HB-1's and I think bass. Maybe the six holes in the peghead should have been a good enough clue. Back to sniffing magic markers for me.
