I think that this thread will win the "Furthest Off-Topic Drift Award" for 2007! Image

And a lot farther to drift, if we really set our minds to it. Image

Oh for sure, there's the whole North Atlantic to begin with, then we can really get off topic, and go on to the Humbolt, and Kon Tiki

Jim, remember to use plenty of Scratch-X and Zymole on that Berkshire or it'll end up looking like this one...

Todd,
That's a real nice weathering job, although from some of the old film I've seen of the the 2-8-4's your's is still fairly "clean".

Yes. I have two 40' loops of N track running around the top of the shelves in my office and every winter do half a dozen or so repaints or weathering jobs when things get slow and boring and auction them off. This is the corner of my office and you can just imagine how much serious work gets done in here....

Morning,

Just wanted to say sorry for the incorrect titling of this thread and any upset that may have been caused to forumites with orders at Sam Ash. It was never my intention to mislead.

Rgds,
Mark

Good stuff Todd, I had a single loop on my desk return in my office. At the moment all are boxed, but not for long.
