When I looked at Jdogs, I thought it was JETGO at first!
I was hoping some of the pictures I've seen weren't just a trick of the light. I THOUGHT they even looked a little lighter in color. I mentioned it somewhere on this forum.

When the three of us at MARC II this weekend compared numbers on our 4003DCMs, two of the three were consecutive. One (correct me if I remembered the numbers wrong, guys!) was 07-11456 (Russ Rubman's), one (Mark Seligman's) was 07-11457, and one (mine) was 07-11485. But I got mine weeks before Mark's or Russ's, so it does not seem that the serial numbers are going up in order as they are shipped from RIC.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
Oh, by the way, I have been told that none of the DCMs will let you see headpiece wings under the finish. The color coat was applied so thickly that it is totally opaque. Only on Paul Wilczynski's prototype did he spray the paint on in such a way that the headstock's walnut wings can be seen through the finish on the headstock.

I haven't heard of any yet. Keep the faith Rickenbrother, they can't be too far behind!
I was starting to feel left out here in the States. I'm not sure who's still waiting, but I think I'm near the end of the line.
ANYONE else here in the US still waiting???

I did not spray the prototype 4003DCM body--this was done by RIC's painter, in their spray booth.
My sole contribution to the prototype was the special pickguard/nameplate set which is also unique in that the nameplate is all one color, with no contrasting paint fill for the name, like all of the rest.

I've had pictures of your bass on my screen saver and I've been looking at it for months. I just assumed they all came that way.
