I would've posted earlier but I didn't bring my laptop with me. I am home now and will post pics later tonite. A splendid was guaranteed and had by all. Many thanks to Chris Clayton ( and Shelby) and John Simmons. What a great host! 110+ Rickenbacker instruments! Is that a record?! I believe so. I hold the world record for the most drinks in two games of "Bottles", lol. (And Scotch too, yaaah.) :-0 Jumpin' Dave plays Hendrix on a Combo 850 like nobody ever! Woooo! Mark Walker, Jeffrey Scott and John Simmons played basses simultaneously and nobody left the room. They were great! David McLaughlin and collection.....too much. FOUR of his COMBO 850s hanging next to his '59 and '60 315/310! More later......

Wow, glad you guys had a great time.

I love Mark's skeleton bass. Dave, the 4002 looks stunning. Love the mink guitar too.

Someday I'll have to make one of the parties.
Buy it before someone else does.

Here are some pics I took. I didn't have much time to take pictures.
I spent most of the time trying to figure out which one I wanted to play!
This is where it all begins...

Here's John Biscuti & Jdog admiring John's collection.

Here's John again....
I think he's picking one to hide in one of his bass cases!

Ricks among friends.

Another DCM stands PROUD!

It was endless!...One Rick after another!
Wait a minute...Where'd that Fender come from?!!
Image
Here's Mark Walker's Trio!
Image
Look at the back of the neck...Absolutely beautiful!
Image
Here's Dave Pascoe's corner....
TWO...TWO...Two Ricks in one!
Image
Nice 4002 Dave!

While everyone seemed to have fun at MARF, another mini confluence was taking place halfway across the country in Dallas.

Those attending included Graham, Peter, Richard, John, Alison, and Mike.
