Uncomfortable, but interesting.

Here's a '57 Chevy guitar:

Could that be actual large pieces of abalone forming the large Indian chief on the body? Or is it just silvery metal? If abalone, that is some incredible inlay art!

I'm not a big Les Paul fan (unless Les Paul is playing it) ...but that Indian LP is quite lovely.

Here is what the seller of the ChevyGibson replied when I asked the date of manufacture. It is not late fifties. There is no serial number, but he says the pots date to 1994 Image

Hi

It's from 1994 according to the Pots. I can't remember the exact week as I checked it over a year ago when the guitar was opened up last. the guy's at gibson don't know much about it except that it's a one off. The chevy orange guitar you see in the pictures, was the only picture they had of it. They couldn't tell me if the serial number was visible on the back either. Ours does not have the serial stamp on the back of the neck either.

That bowtie guitar is this week's ugly winner. AWFUL.

The tailfin guitar is a close second, although i've seen so many of them it is not so shocking. And the Indian...

One question: Why should a guitar look like any of these things? It's a GEETAR, for Pete's sake!

Maybe it is to take advantage of all of those "Ford peeing on Chevy and vice versa" stickers!

More stickers for the case?

not bad, but if that C-shaped part is raised, it might interfere with playing the goldarn thang.
