No affil., just a heads-up. They don't show up for sale often and you never know when you're going to find that nice 4001 with messed-up rods. I'd be on it if I didn't already have two spare sets.

Well, there is a benefit to participating in this Forum.

Like the knowledge that both Dale and I make these brand new.

I do them only as part of a restoration project, whereas Dale offers them for sale, I believe.

It's so easy to fix the old ones (by cutting and re-threading) I don't know if it's worth what this guy might get for these. I guess if you had one that was busted at the fold area it would be nice to have a spare but....what Paul said.
