Charly's main reason for smiling was not the 35lbs he's lost on his diet, but the blonde hottie-waitress taking our picture.

Yup, if you go back a year, I've lost about 50 pounds. The 35 figure has been since the diagnosis in Oct. Only three weeks on meds, and now I only check blood sugar once or twice a week as my "diet" is working so well!

You're right John, Brad was at the 75th.

Diane felt funny to be in the picture since she was the ony girl there. I though that Pam would come with Dane and that maybe Alison would make it there.

We have a venue! This year's SoCalCon will be held at the Holiday Inn, Santa Ana (where it was held in 2005). More details will follow.

Way cool news, Gary! I am looking forward to being one of the first "definite maybes" to sign up

Getting enough guitars from the Washington DC area to Santa Ana safely and back is the only component of that "maybe", by the way...getting them to MARF II was easy, since it was only a 130 mile trip in the RickenTruck
