However this is from Dickspawn, and I know there has been trouble with them before. The bass doesn't look like it was taken care of, but someone into a little elbow grease could probably ressurrect it. At $500 current bid, it beats the English one by about $1000 so far.

They don't ship outside the contiguous states, so that means a lot of us are out of the running already. The acquisitions department here has put a hold on anything more for now anyway... unless...

I just don't want to deal with anyone whose username is dickspawn.

I was just thinking about that," dick spawn" sounds like an exotic VD.

In the "Fake 4001 on ebay" thread that ended in early March, he was listing a fake with a real 4001 nameplate, JH said he was a repeat offender and called him an "appropriately named eBayer, Dickspawn".

I was still overseas then and didn't catch alot of the posts, but it seems that JH has a rather biting sense of humor, too bad he doesn't post more often.

Yes, that was the incident I remembered, and the username was not lost on me. I don't think I want diskspawn handling or anywhere near my guitars. Image

This looks legit, but would need some restoration work. After two basses in the last two weeks, I need to put the brakes on any more for the time being, so a Ci will have to wait.

I agree it would be nice to see JH around here more often.

Well, the English Ci is up to its reserve at 1200 pounds, or roughly $1900US+.
