Bigsby stringing?
This doesn't look right. Don't the strings go under the roller bar before they're put on the back part? http://cgi.ebay.com/2002-Lefty-Left-Handed-Rickenbacker-350V63-in-Fireglo_W0QQitemZ200103561615QQihZ010QQcategoryZ41439QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.

I wonder if that's why he's selling it..."the d****d strings keep popping out of their slots..."
Oh, well, left-handed people are weird...

LOL! I took my JG c58 to a little mom&pop to have him install my Bigsby. The guy's really nice, just a little music shop geared towards kid's band instruments, etc.
He did a great job on the Bigsby, but restrung just like the pics. Got it home and I thought WTHeck?? Then it hit me...

Exactly, and therein lies the problem with putting the bigsby on the 350v63: the string needs to make such a sharp turn upward on the v63, unlike the lower pix of a (I'm guessing) 325.
Dont worry, there is nothing wrong with that ebay seller that cant be fixed with some prozac and a polo mallet..... [credit: Woody Allen]

The seller sent me this note:
"Yes, the Bigsby has the strings going over the roller bar instead of under. This is due to the short distance between roller bar and bridge- after discussing the matter with my luthier, we decided to leave it as is. It remains in tune, so I had no objection leaving it this way. I had toyed with the notion of putting a Ric trapeze tailpiece on the guitar, but the weight of the Bigsby seems to add to the sustain of the instrument, at least as far as I can tell. Thanks for your comments."
