The Swinging Blue Jeans - Hippy hippy shake
Freddie & the Dreamers - You were made for me (ha!)
Exceptions - Business as usual (oookay, that's not a famous track, but from the 60s anyway...)
Searchers - If i could find someone (ha, an original!!!)
(ps: who/what is North of Malibu? A 60s band i've never heard about?..)

Got it, Richard. Never heard of them. Are we talkin' 60s only, and well-known only? Or may i for instance explore my garage rock collection in order to find some more ironic titles? There are waaaay many, apart from Exceptions with their usual business. Image
Kinks - Well respected man - will that do?
Big Mama Thornton - Sweet little angel

Not wanting to be a party pooper but it seems to me some of these are being stretched to the point of incredulity or I just don't get it which is probably the more favoured option.

Point taken, Toy. Sometimes the association may appear tenuous and I would be the first to admit that in regard to my submissions.

Cheap Trick - Carnival Game

Bachman Turner Overdrive - My wheels won't turn or
Roll on down the highway

Blind Faith - I can't find my way home

ok, ok, these are more seventies, but it's what I know!

Manfred Mann: Just like a woman (...)
Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!
