Pete: I was always taught to respect my elders, so I'll always side with you. As I've said before, you and Graham are like a couple of escaped mental patients, but you're alright!

Saw-weeet!

And to think I got my 730L-12 NEW with warranty from an authorized dealer just a year and a half back for $2500 out the door.

Not that I'd sell mine anyway.

All the years I've yearned for Rickenbackers, I had never ever considered one of their acoustics. This proves, once again, as if any proof is needed, that I am, and have always been, an idiot. The pictures we've been treated to here in the forum for the last several months have been incredible works of art. I hope everything works out for RIC and they can start up the acoustic shop again. But until then....

It looks like I'm going to have to sneak the piggy bank from under my wife's pillow and get in line with Paul W's customers!

(My only caveat -- and someone posted this observation recently -- I would prefer mine with a pickguard. A gold pickguard!)

Graham, did I ever tell you that you were my best friend in the whole world? Apart from saying it when when I was drunk, of course! Image.
