History of the 4004

I might be guilty of paying the most $$$ ever, to date, for a 4004L in the US of A.

And I don't care! She's a beauty, for sure.

The eCheck thing has delayed the process but she should arrive next week.

Well, i didn't sell it because of the lack of walnut wings, but they would have been nice!

No worries though, my new Trans Red Cii has 'em!

the early 4004 basses had walnut headwings ... then for many years they didn't ... now they do again ... although my 1993 4004L has maple headwings ...

Strange then, this one is an 04 according to the seller. But again changes and Ricks have always been normal, more or less!

My tracking number says May 7th for delivery...

my 4004cii has the walnut wings,it is an '04 model. to me,it also seems to have a fairly slim neck. it looks to be the gold-tinged twin to your laredo,ray. plus,i paid what i thought was pretty high-dollar(procrastinated for monthes on that one),but it is literally flawless,plays better than any bass i have ever had,and sounds really fantastic. i am loving it!
