Master Of The Rickenbacker

Post by johnallg »

Nope, not JH this time. Mr. Christopher Squire. July issue of Guitar World's Bass Guitar mag, page 28.

Online Link but it still shows last month's issue right now. Geddy is on the cover of the newest issue.

Yes, good short article everyone. I subscribe to that one too.

I liked how he reviews his influences. Seeing Entwistle play live (with a Ric bass) was enough for Chris.

Good shot of him playing in 1971.

Still working on the BBC Crown Jewels show John! This weekend is looking good.

Anyone else think the article ended abruptly in mid-stride?

David - I totally understand busy - the last two weeks for me has been really hectic.

Ian - are the two mags related? Is it the same article?

I can't believe they still have last month's issue online....

Hah, I look at it now and all I see is Pete Wentz. Stopped me right there. I can only look at that guy if Ashlee Simpson's in the same pic, and even then he bothers me. Since when does he have talent? I've heard some of that bands tunes and I wasn't impressed.

I'll stop now. Image

Yeah, Nate, I don't understand why the website still has last month's issue up.... except bass players are an afterthought at GW.
