OOOPS .... I DID IT AGAIN!

Post by mrs_brown »

It's a scarey thing when you come home from work and your husband tells you "OOPS I did it again.. and you know he did not cheat on you!!

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brown proudly announce two new additions to their Rickenbacker family. We are expecting the arrival within the next week. Stay tuned for family photos.
May you always work like you don't need money;
May you always love like you've never been hurt;
and may you always dance like there's nobody watching.

Mrs. Brown, could you maybe talk to my wife...? You know, tell her how Ricks are just sort of inevitable? And cute?

Mrs Brown you've got a lovely daughter! or son, I am not sure how to "sex" a Rick!

I know the line works better after the photos, but I thought of it now.............

"tell her how Ricks are just sort of inevitable? And cute?"

I was told at MARF II that Ricks were never ever to be called cute!! Striking, Amazing, Magnificant, Awe-inspiring.. but never ever cute! From what I hear men dont like to have anything cute that they are not married to or other wise involved with...... But you can let your wife know they do seem to be inevitable... Are you taking her to SoCal? The one weekend of all Ricks and you sort of loose all perspective.

That last comment seemed to be sexist but it came from a man who told me never to call a Rick cute that men never liked to have "cute" things.... I am taking his word on this..

Ahhhh, so we shouldn't call the Rics "cute"? But they are cute (at least mine is). Image

Tammy, one of these days I should introduce you to my wife, Robyn. You both share common qualities of patience and understanding! Image

Robyn will be joining me during this year's trek to the SoCal confluence.

I hope I get to meet her!.. We are still debating as I am terrified of flying.. and my work begins that same week, so things look rather grim in the SoCal confluence Department. But I would love to meet her. By the way that is a great picture his and her Ricks???

Tammy, I find that I now use phrases like... "honey, we've bought another guitar..." and ..."this will be a great addition to our collection"... So, um, yes...they are "his and hers guitars". What's hers is hers and what's mine is hers, too. Image

I'm really pleased to hear that you're going to come to SoCal.

My suggestion for flying is to take an iPod with your favourite music on it. It helps pass the time and drowns out the background noise of the jet engines.
