Anyone know where I can source a spare bridge and bridge pickup for the 4003S/5?

It turns out the 4003S/5 my friend knew of was old stock at Rickenbacker Asia. 2001 model never been touched, just sitting there. It is missing the bridge and bridge pickup.

I got it for just on $1000AU which is about $50US.

Was it a good deal?

Even missing the parts, it was a good deal, Brett. I suggest that you cross-post this under The Vibrola section where the resident luthiers and experts can see it and make recommendations.

If you get stuck not finding a bridge pickup, Sergio could help you out and make one.

Yes, that's a great deal!(I'm guessing you didn't really mean $50 US?!)

You need just the bridge and 5 saddles, or you need the tailpiece as well? There's a black tailpiece on ebay right now NOS from RIC.

According to Yahoo!'s currency converter, 1000AU is about $825. Good deal.

Yeah $825 is spot on. The Aussie dollar is doing a little better these days Image

It is being shipped with a tailpiece so I only need the bridge and a pickup.

Jeff, I will email you directly about the bridge and pickup.

Guys, I really appreciate all the advice and assistance.
