Congratulations...

I think that I detect the accumulation syndrome developing in Tammy. Image

He has had years of worthless gifts at Christmas and his birthday, which is New Years day, after Christmas spending he always gets the short end of the stick... I never know what to get him.. We have been "hitched up" going on 27 years this year... time to just be nice and put a twinkle in his eye!

and yes MARF had an amazing affect on me.. good grief I am going to get in a plane... that should say it all....

That's very touching Tammy, look forward to meeting you both at SoCal.

I've been touting the benefits of the late 80's 4003S for years. Small neck, modern truss rods, Schaller tuners, comfortable non-bound body, no heavy, silly, "thing" getting in the way of your strings Image, sounds great, looks great...what more could a bass player ask for?!

Congrats!

Yes I'm quite lucky and grateful. I couldn't have picked a better girl to marry for sure.
....Now what to get her. Hmmmm...

That is a stunning S model. I was sorely tempted, but I am determined not to start acruing debt again. Besides I am totally happy with my '86 4003 so it was not a need. Glad it found a good home!

It looks almost exactly like my cat, which is a Maine Coon. Here's a picture of her:

I have to see how the funds are holding up, Tammy. BTW, it was great meeting and talking with you and Ben at MARF.

Great meeting you too.. you should try to make it to SoCal... we will probably be doing the value meals at McD's.. or brownbag pbj's but we are gonna get there one way or another... I have warned the kids absolutely no financial emergencies... (this will probably cost me big bucks you know how kids are...)
