Great show. I also enjoyed the historical background about The Beatle's influence on Russia and how the people would "sneak" albums to listen to.

I thought the show was great, but I would have liked to see more of the concert.

I agree.
If anybody missed it, or would like to see it again, A&E will replay it Saturday at 10am (EST).

Great, they played it on two nights that I was without electricity. Hopefully, we'll get a replay. The drummer with the current touring band is quite a trip!

That drummer is the "junior" son of famous bassist Abe Laboriel.

He provides terrific backing vocals as well as a monster backbeat!
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

I am just as big a McCartney fan that their is, but I felt it was a bit much. Honestly, if anyone thinks The Beatles led to the fall of communism is in need of a reality check. I did enjoy some of the human interest segments, but I felt that overall it was overproduced. I did enjoy the pieces from Standing Stone as incidental music, but even that was overplayed.

I agree Brian. The show spent way too much time discussing how Paul and the Beatles brought down Communism. Like I mentioned above, the show should have featured more concert footage.
