HOLEY MOLEY! That is soooooo cool! I just dropped off Zooey with her boyfriend for the next month and I'm making final preparations as we speak.

Thank you to everyone for the congrats and well wishes. It really means a lot and this forum is just so cool.

Hey Aitch, if the Mercedes doesnt do it for you, i've got hold of a red 64 Mustang convertible!!!
Might be a touch hard to fit the guitars and amps in for Saturday though!

If you want to get somewhere quickly I could borrow my sons WRX.

ROTFLMAO!! ImageImage

Looks like you did a 'hard right hand down' in reverse, Graham! Those things like to lie on their side when they sleep, don't they?? Image

The guitars and amp were all delivered to Trotty's last night, Greg. The Benz only has to carry a 4003 bass, a 350v63 and Darren's Gretsch on Saturday. And a few leads and bits and pieces.......

From what I remember (way back when) those vans are all over the place when you corner. Image

I'm sitting in SEA-TAC now...it was kind of eery when I was checking...there was absolutely not a soul in any of the lines for the airline.

There's a hysterical sequence in one of the Mr. Bean shows that features one of those vans. Image

You may be able to confirm, Peter or Graham..... is it a Bond?

Good job Aitch! I'm sorry I couldn't safeguard your guitar the whole way there.

Just over an hour to board for LAX...

(P.S. Sorry to anyone reading this thread and finding it ridiculously dorky...I've just never been to London or Melbourne before and the forum dudes are so much fun to hang out with that I just couldn't wait to visit.)
