I will be moving this post and others that involve the sale of Rickenbacker Basses, personal or on eBay, to the Rickenbackers For Sale section. I would ask that posters use the Rickenbackers For Sale section for that purpose.

I realize that new posters may not yet be aware of the Rickenbackers for Sale section and to that end I would ask long time members whether we should keep the practice of having it hidden to non-members. Your thoughts on this subject would be appreciated.

Peter is it possible to continue to show the links but when you click on the links have it revert to the login screen? Personally it doesen't matter to me whether we have to login or not.

I still think it's a good idea to have the for sale section hidden.

I also like the private "For Sale" section.

But I think that sometimes if a member wants to sell his Rick and call maximum attention to his ebay auction, being able to list it in the main section would be a good option to have.

I like having the sale & wanted sections hidden. I think the Bass section is so cluttered (over populated?) that the less posts there, the better. I often skip the whole topic to avoid the tedium.

Hidden, please.

And I think that Brummie auction is a scam.

I also vote for hidden sales, at least a little room for some forumites to help others fight the EACHBUS! Image

OK, I get the message. Your comments are appreciated. Gaze left to the menu under Utilities for the compromise.
