Southwest - where the pilot comes back and does standup before the flight! :D (He'd heard my wife was nervous)

I flew Southwest from Seattle to LA in '03 and the flight crew put on a comedy act whenever they had announcements to make - it was hysterical!!

I've flown Southwest many times and always found them a refreshing change from the rest who treat you like they're doing you a favour letting you on the aircraft.

As for America Worst ... I'd get banned from the Forum for even scratching the surface on those bozo's

Worst of all are Untied, whose inflight waiters and waitresses behave like you're interrupting their day.

Last year, I was on a chartered flight to Cancun, Mexico. The flight attendant (very atttractive btw) started off with a British accent. The next time she spoke, it was a Southern Belle. The next time, French accent. She had the passengers in stitches, especially the men. That flight went by too quickly. How often does one think that??

ATTENTION (sorry for shouting): when reserving a room at the Holiday Inn, request the "Hotel Event Rate" ($94). This way we don't have to reserve a block and get dinged if it doesn't fill up, and visitors still get a discount.

How many will be in Santa Ana on Thursday 8/23 in time for dinner? Has anyone tried organizing a dinner that day yet? I'm trying to decide if I want to fly in on Thursday or Friday.

John, there are a number of us locals who probably would be willing to go to dinner on Thursday, too.

Since I'm arriving around 10pm on Thursday, I guess dinner is out. However, I trust that maybe I'll find maybe one or two of you in the hotel's bar.

No doubt, Richard! Probably led by Darren - I believe he said he'd be in on Thursday.

How about we get together for dinner on Friday evening instead?
There will be many more available I think. Just a thought. Image

We'll do that too. I was just wondering if anyone had plans made if they showed up on Thursday.
