The other way I could do it is just make the tone a second volume, since I never use the tone control anyway. That would be a simple wiring mod.

BTW, did anyone notice the rather major change in the 4004 line up on the Ric site? Now, both Cheyenne and Laredos are available in standard colors plus translucent red, green and blue.

They could offer them in any color of the spectrum, but what good is selection if you cant get one delivered ?

I saw that too, then I asked Mike Parks to give me a quote on one, and he told me they weren't available that way...

I do know that the Laredos are available in standard colors now (don't know about the transluscents, as I was looking for MB). I agree with you Scott about not being able to actually get one...
