I just realized that someone will have bragging rights for posting the first feedback for the RIC-O-utlet ...

Another thing I noticed is that RIC will be taking PayPal for these eBay purchases; I wonder whether that could be an alternative mode for paying for parts/strings/clothing/accessories purchased through the factory boutique?

Not planning on it, Gary - it's two separate entities at this point.

Whoopee! I just scored on a set of 6 brand-new Schaller Black-Chromed Kluson-style keywinds from the outlet. I've had an '86 620/12MGBT for over 15 years with several "sloppy" tuners and these are an exact match. Thanks RIC. I was told these were no longer available many years ago by both RIC and Schaller. Michael: do you have any pictures of your 620/12? I've never seen these tuners on a guitar and would love to see how they look!

That is intriguing ... I wasn't aware that they were even made! Image

Here are a few candids taken while my 620 wasn't looking. She plays like a dream and sounds like she has a built-in Janglebox!ImageImage

That honor goes to Dave Pascoe! Congrats!
