I worked at Apple for years and used Macs for recording for a long time even afterward. Everything just seemed to work and was quite intuitive.

I have had to switch platforms, since I have needed to do more than one thing with my computer (I'm doing the multiple hard drives thing.) The software is powerful, but less intuitive than that I've used on Macs. Also, making hardware work together is a little harder.

The last thing is that a full-blown PC, rated by the software supplier is not a lot cheaper than a full-blown Mac.

I've made my choice, but I miss working with a Mac every single day. I even miss having a computer that smiles when it boots (if these PC's did it, I wouldn't believe them.)

If a PC smiled when it booted, it would have to be a malicious smile! Maybe an evil, cackling laugh would be more appropriate? Image
