Melissa, do your settings under Tools/Options/Content look like this?

Uhh ... if you can't see the image above, then I think you can right-click on the image placeholder icon and select "Display Image" from the popup menu ... maybe that'll work.

Yes, all four boxes are checked.

But not the pics in the For Sale area still? How about the other pictures in the other forums, like the Confluence pictures or the Playing Your Rick pictures?

I can see the pictures in all subject areas except for "Rickenbackers for sale." A couple of weeks ago I even tried posting a couple of pictures there, and I could see them just fine on the preview screen, but I couldn't even see my own pics after I hit the "post message" button. I don't know how this could happen, but it's happening to me, LOL!

Ummmm.... I guess I can't see photos there, either--It's been a while since I've looked there!

Wonder if it has something to do with the extra logins in those topic areas.

Just exactly! I would seem to me that your browser or related software is blocking access in order to protect you from the content. From your spouse's point of view, this might be a good thing.

I would look into the privacy and security parameters through Tools in your Firefox browser.

Sure.... Any idea what the settings are supposed to be in order to view pictures in these two areas?

My husband, who is more technologically inclined than I am, will look into it and make the necessary adjustments as soon as we know what they should be set at.

But he might not WANT me to be tempted by all those lovely pics of Rics for sale, LOL!

Melissa, try running FireFox in safe mode. There should be a safe mode setting under Start/Programs if you're using Windows.

Interesting.... I just asked my husband to check for pictures on "Rickenbackers for sale" from his computer, and the photos came through just fine. He checked the privacy and security settings on my computer's browser, and they were the same as his.

One thing I noticed is that I only had to log in to the For Sale section once on Marc's computer, whereas on mine, I have to re-login every time I go to a new screen in that section. Another thing we both noticed is that in the For Sale and Wanted sections, the images do not come up on my computer, but the image descriptions show up. Marc figured out that we can right-click on the image description and then we can view the image in a new window.... So it's nice to know that I can see the pictures after all, but with a little extra work.... But the question remains, why is it happening this way on my computer?

Sounds like an issue with cookies. Make sure that FireFox is allowing them (Tools/Options/Privacy) and verify that your anti-virus software isn't blocking cookies either.

My two cents, check to see that your screen resolution is 1024 X 768. It sounds as if you may be out of room.

Hmmmmm.... That shouldn't be a problem--my monitor is a great big thing, with resolution of 1600 x 1024. And I can see the pictures just fine in all other categories.
