I saw B.B. in Vegas a few years ago. He walked out onto the stage, but did his performance sitting down. He even explained why... although there was no need to explain, as far as I was concerned. Sittin' didn't affect his playin' any. ;-)

Re: BB King. That's not so unusual. For example a year or so ago, I saw my old friend Randy Bachman in concert and noticed immediately that he sits down to play on stage now as well. He's not much older than I am. If he is indeed older? I really can't remember which of us was the elder statesman amongst our peers. Hmmmm. I must be getting old too. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I stood up and played.

What was this thread about again? Oh yes! Blues guitar. The blues is a genre I love. I play blues on Strats, Tele's, LP's, and Rickenbackers. I also play acoustically on a Takamine. See, I am not prejudiced at all about which guitar to use. You can play the blues on just about anything.

Many of the fathers of the blues played el cheapos..love good guitars but it's in the soul and the fingers...

G E Smith on the Black Guard Tele next to JW, usually plays a Gibson 335. Nice version of Dylans song.
