And my new 4004 too!
In 3 three days of almost non-stop playing I have learned these things have an amazing range of tone. SO happy. Thanks again to the 4004 apostle Brian and his LK for the inspiration.
Has anyone de-VVTed their 4004? Mine came with the old toggle and pots and I realized I have never tried a 4004 pre-mod. I am also thinking it needs black hardware to match the black TRC. Anyone have spares/extras for sale?
Are 4004's required to be photographed laying down? On wood?

So, has anybody mod'd a 4004 with a 4003 toggle switch and concentric 500k pots for a 4001/4003 vibe?
I noticed, when a installed the toaster a couple of days ago, that my old '73 has all 330k pots. Is that normal? I never really looked before, and always thought they were 500k.
