Paul, that is an amazing artwork! I just get excited more and more, anticipating my "slot" being free!

OH...MY...GOSH!!!

(Jaw hits desk)

I just tuned in!

I couldn't have dreamed that my faithful old mucasglo Rick could be this beautiful. Good things come to those who wait! I can now sell all of my other Ricks!* Thank you so much for all of your hard work and care with this one, Paul. Your work is amazing.

It was 25 years ago this month that I bought this bass new. What a fitting anniversary present for her! Now she'll be good for the next 25 years and beyond.

A big THANKS to Paul Boyer for letting me duplicate his signature color.

Thanks to all of you forumites for your kind words on this one and for all of your knowledge and help in the past.

Thanks to RIC for building these great instruments and for their uncompromising commitment to homegrown quality and value.

Thanks for the offer Elys, but this one's staying with me for the long haul!

I now have to finish this post so that I can resume looking at the photos and drooling!

*I might have to re-think this statement when I calm down. Image

Here's a back shot.

And I'd also like to thank Quentin Tarantino for teaching me about Surf Music, my Mom and Dad for putting up with all of my high jinks, shenanigans and tomfoolery, my future wife for putting up with my ever-expanding bass guitar collection, and oh...and I'd like to thank the Academy, and, and...thanks to Peter for giving me the opportunity to to meet Paul W. and see his work, and...oh no...You're not going to cut me off are you?..

Thanks for the back shot, Paul.

That dude knows how to spray some color, don't he?!

Nice neck slab on this one. Hard to believe that its been hiding beneath the white for all these years!

Do you have any headstock shots?
