How did it get a chip in the curve under the "fiddle head" wave? That's pretty hard to do.

Nice looking bass.
Listen to that sustain!

He was a regular here until about 3 years ago, under the handle "Dedgoat", and IIRC at one point he owned the superfecta (Shadow, Blackstar, Tuxedo, Redneck).

I miss his posts, he was (probably still is) very knowledgeable.

Kendal was a regular back in the day - yes Ilan, very knowledgeable. The redneck, I believe wasn't original, IIRC he had a red BT done up to look like a RN.

He actually had a couple of Blackstars and Shadows - again, IIRC...

good guy...

Kendall was responsible for helping me get my 1967 4005 about 3 years ago. A great early forum member who I miss! Where are you, man!

John - Look at your email from me a week ago!

$2555.55. Damn. I would have loved to get that bass for that price if only it had come along at a better time. Damn damn.

That seemed very reasonable given the usual interest in these, and the other silly prices for run of the mill stuff.

Sometimes, it all makes no sense...

John, well said. Man, am I jealous. Please let us know all about it when you get it.

Please tell me you put in a bid much higher than that so I know I wouldn't have gotten it if I bid a little more than 2500. Lie if you have to.

Yes, I was way higher than $2500, so if you had bid a little more I still would have won! I put my max at $2555.55...
