A Dilema. 78 4001FL vs. 2006 4003FL

Post by stts64 »

I always wanted a Blue Boy and here is the one on ebay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/RICKENBACKER-4003FL-Blue-Boy-Fretless-Bass-Guitar_W0QQitemZ270121881112QQihZ017QQcategoryZ4713QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The price is right , but the timing bad and I will have to sell my 78 4001FL Walnut to make up the budget hole. I really can't make up my mind.
What are your thoughts. Help!!!!
I am good with my fingers and I can do it all night !

Thats a good deal. I bet you can count the number of fretless Blueboys on one hand.

If you like the color, do it. That's a decent price.

I just noticed that the seller will not ship. Pick up only. So much for that idea.

I certainly can. Give me the address and I can probably get it tomorrow.
Did you tell the seller someone else will be picking the bass up?

Now check your email....

Oh SteveBen Image Now, would I ever ace someone else out of a bass that I know they desperately want in a heartfelt way? NO WAY!! Image

Congratulations, Kris!! You got a great deal on a great bass, and I know you will really enjoy it Image

SteveBen will take care of seeing that it goes smoothly! That's how we Southern Marylanders treat folks, like family! Image Image

It's all in jest Elys! Image
...But you know that Ruby red would have looked very nice in my collection of 5.
I made the call but to no avail!
