A Dilema. 78 4001FL vs. 2006 4003FL

I am at work right now till 10:00pm (Central)and I do not have an access to my email here. I will do all the emailing when I get home.Obviously I did not have a chance to talk to the seller yet. Hopefully I can hear from him in time to get everything done in a convenient time for everyone. I hope it is fast as I am leaving for vacation next Sunday (27th).

Yes 78 4001FL Walnut. I posted a couple of pics of it in different threads. It is beautiful. The only thing is that the previous owner painted a white stripe below the contrlls.

WOW...very nice. The stripe is odd, is there a chance of having it removed or is it down to the wood. No biggie either way, just curious.

Now, the BIG question....THE NECK? Thin or thick?

The stripe is painted on the wood and I did not attempt to mess with it so I do not know if it can be removed. The neck is thin.
Now, I will keep it till I will find out what happened to the Blueboy. Maybe the guy thought I want it shipped as I am in Missouri. I will not know till I can get to my email.

Kris I emailed the seller and explained to him the possibly of me picking the bass up.
I asked him about the refund and am waiting on an answer.

Kris, the seller may have seen your location/shipping address and assumed that you didn't read "the fine print", especially if he/she did not get an explanatory e-mail/Contact Seller note from you soon enough. I would e-mail the seller (use the eBay system, if possible) ASAP and do some explaining!
