Not like any Fireglo I've seen before. More like some of the fender target bursts.

Sometimes digital cameras don't capture bursts very well. Everything here looks legit (at least to my eyes).

Fireglos come in all kinds of shades and of course this is the most difficult color to capture correctly by a camera. Everything looks OK.
I am good with my fingers and I can do it all night !

I have to agree with the consensus - it looks ok, even if the coloration is odd. Maybe it just aged differently for some reason, or perhaps it is as suggested a camera artifact.

I know my FG Laredo photographs with a stronger pinkish tint than it really has...

Not an Ibanez? The walnut strip looks a tad wide, and the yellowing like theirs.

I'm no expert, but I also thought Ibanez when I saw the color.

I'm almost positive. I'm still a noob when it comes to identifying!

Yes, at least some do. I will wait for some of the real experts to decide, though.

Even allowing for the way the photo captured the colour, the way that it's sprayed is unlike any 80's Ric I've seen, the colour appears to be too concentrated and the blending too coarse.

I'd say either a poor refinish, or a fake.
