you are missing -

a 4005 (yeah right!)

a 4002 (yeah right!)

a 4080 (who I do I think you are - Dave Pascoe???)

...and more realistically...

a 4004!!!!!!! Image

Very nice lineup, even with all the "gaps"!

I've just been getting things down to the 4003's I really like. I will pickup a new Mapleglo and Jetglo I think.

Nice collection. I really like the white one. Those black trim basses are cool!

Your white bass still looks white! Is the far left one a silverglo?

Thats the '97 "bright white" 4003 I just got off of Jeff Rath. I traded my CII for it. Its as white as white can be. I put a Hipshot bridge on it, and even with the bridge off I couldnt tell any discoloration.

The one on the left is Desert Gold.

Nice Scott.

I just finally gave the Scratch-X/Zymol treatment to my 4003DCM last night, and changed the strings over to Chromes, so I took a few pictures this morning of my two babies.

Here they are...

And here is a close up of the headstocks. The '87 has a very thin neck. Look at the positioning of the A string tuner compared to the size of the crest in the headstock.

Scott, are you sure that's a HipShot? It looks so much like a Rickenbacker bridge, it's hard to tell! ;-) LOL

Here is my current Rick bass fleet in two photos (not enough stands!):

ImageImage

These are '97 4004 Laredo Fireglo with VVT mod and "normal" white TRC; '93 4004 Cheyenne with VVT mod; '97 4001V63 Fireglo; '04 4003VP Montezuma Brown with Hipshot bridge, Pickguardian "signature edition" pickguard and treble pickup surround; '72 4001 "Mink" restoration by Staberow/Wilczynski; '07 4003 DCM 75th Anniversary Edition; and the newbie, '00 4003 Sea Green (recently acquired from "Ampeg" Bob Young). Sorry about the quality of the shots. Resolution takes it on the chin when you try to squeeze a lot of detail and color in the shot down to 36k.

Beautiful shots, Paul! My only criticism is that you did not post a web link to higher-resolution versions Image Those gorgeous basses deserve it! Image Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
