My First 4003

I received this on Friday and I'm thrilled with it. It's a brand new 4003 AFG VP. I'm a guitarist normally, and this is my first proper bass. It's a totally different thing trying to hold a groove down, and it'll be months before I can really do it. In the meantime, I'll have to settle for just looking like I know what I'm doing!

That's a beauty! You said it's brand new? The binding and fret inlays look alot yellower then my 4003DCM. It matches your color very well though. Does RIC use different colored bindings and inlays, depending on the 4003 color?

Greg...it's Antique FireGlo so the clear is tinted to give it an aged look. RIC's baby steps away from a "relic" series!

Thanks, guys. Here's a close up of the binding so that you can see the ambering a little more clearly. It's pretty striking in person.
