I bought a copy of The Stratocaster Chronicles at Half-Price Books and it inspired me to trade 2 guitars a ss amp and 2 pedals for a 2004 American strat.Wow,what a great guitar.

I've always been a fan, as boring as it may be to say "Wow, I choose a Stratocaster"... My reissue '57 has a feel and a sustain and a weight that just feels like home.

However, I've been messing around with a friend's old Gibson ES-335...and it sure plays great!
Here is where I hide my music:

Strats are just all around great guitars. I've got a couple imports, a CIJ '57RI, Classic 60s, a Chinese Squier Std and an Am Dlx V Neck. All strats, all just a little unique, and all lots of fun!

Congrats on your new find!
