Good point Darren.. do you think we should start a "Let Jdog go to SoCal petition"??? I think it would be in his best interest to go ...

JDog, on that Saturday morning, tell your boss that you can down with a bug or something and that you're going to rest up in your room. Then take Dale's advice and go on down to the Confluence for three or four hours (well maybe five or six)..

Thanks again everyone for the kind words. I was not expecting such a response!

When exactly is the big jam? If we can get that nailed down, I might be able to make it for that. The company thing is as follows: we fly to SF on Thursday morning and fly out Saturday... afternoon, I think? So if there is enough activity Saturday night and people lingering for breakfast or lunch on Sunday, I could catch a one way back to Tampa Sunday night. When I get to work today, I'll see if I can arrange it.

JDog, sounds to me like you're coming, even if it's just for 24 hours Image

Word on the street is, Dale is quite accomodating when it comes to his Woodie. I do not, however, speak from experience. Image

"What does Dale have of yours Dave?"

I cannot say Ben..

Dale said that this one must be a surprise to all.

All kidding aside, I highly doubt that it will be done in time.....Dale said the last restoration (4080/12) was the most time that he ever put into a guitar. I think that this one will top it.

Dave, are you personally funding Dale's retirement? Image

What a tease, though!
