380L Pics

Post by squid »

I've been so busy at work lately, I haven't had time to blink. So this morning I whipped out some guitars and had a good bash. I love them all, but I'm particularly fond of this one. I'm sure you can see why.

John: Very nice. Just a few more pedals and you will be set. Image
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

You don't know the half of it, Peter. There's a whole bunch of other pedals just out of the frame. What can I say? Sometimes I just like to make noise ...

Looks like that mod worked out well. I should do that to mine.

Concentric pot to control more things... and a flipped PIezo to remove the out of phase with the magnetic pickups... right?

You got it, Nick. It's worked out very well for me. I've already posted at length about the whys and wherefores, so I won't go on and on about it again. Suffice it to say that I prefer this set up because I tend to play the guitar through a single amp and the phase switch allows the piezo to sit a little closer to the magnetic pick-ups in the mix. I think if I had two amps, I'd revert to the factory set-up.
