That's a great price for the UK - and the seller's only just up the road from me.

Curse the fact I don't have a spare £800. Now if that had been a couple of weeks ago...

Dave Carr is still here and YES we could make that baby shine but as only you Pete know I have an other Rickenbacker bass in view at this time and it will turn heads if I can or you Pete can purchase her.

Someone has popped the BIN, and now the highest bid is very close to the BIN price (UKP795, IIRC). With 5 full days left, I'm guessing this bass will sell for way higher than the BIN was... Woulda-coulda-shoulda. Oh well, at least the seller will be happy.
