My baby is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by jps »

I got my '67 4005 WB back this afternoon! A friend of mine has had it for the past 21 years and now it's back in my hands for good. It will need some TLC but overall it is in pretty good shape. I haven't taken it apart yet to check out the usual things, but one of the best things is that it came with a set of N.O.S. truss rods!

Does anybody know if there is someone that refurbishes HS cases? The original needs some hardware and the Tolex needs to have shipping tape that has been on the case for 20 years removed and generally cleaned up. I'll keep you informed as to the progress on the rest of the bass, however it will be a slow project done in my spare time.

21 years??!?! That's enough time to be born, go through 12 grades of school, graduate, get a job/go to college, get married, graduate from college, and have a kid!

Wow. And for that ammount of time someone else had your 4005. That's restraint! Mister, you're a better man than I.
