The PBB was a special order item built by Gretsch at the Terada plant in Japan, to order for Joel Hibb of Shanghai Guitars in Ponca City, OK. There were only eight made, and there may be a few spoken for. Pics should be up on Gretschpages today.

That's the standard BB, in red/black. I've also seen a couple in Anniversary Green...Billy has a wacko one with a scallop/kandy paint job, too.

Joel posted this on the Gretsch Pages:
"Sorry for the delay. We did recieve them and they exactly what I had hoped for - except for one thing: the factory goofed and didn't put bigsby's on them. They put a gold "G" tailpiece. The thing is the price quoted (...and billed) to us was for one with a bigsby. We checked a B3 with the Billy Bo I'm keeping and it did fit with none of the holes showing from the G tailpiece. There was a little bit of an idention showing in the laquer but it really isn't an issue. Fact is we will be able to install a "V-cutout" B3 bigsby with no trouble and it should appear stock. Right now I'm waiting on my rep to talk to Fender to arrange some Bigsby's or something. I confirmed many times that a bigsby was part of a spec. My rep turned the order in specifying a bigsby on them. The factory recieved an order for Billy Bo's with bigsbys. Somehow, they put out one's without them. It never fails. I kind of feel like a member of Spinal Tap who just recieve his one foot tall Stonehenge. Bigsby issues aside, the guitar is fantastic. I'll have pics first thing tomorrow mourning. Again, those who want a bigsby shall get a bigsby. Atleast now if you prefer the tension bar version we should be able to arrange that..... "
